Gosree Finance Limited appoints Ms. Shalini Warrier as CEO and Co-Promoter
Gosree Finance Limited (GFL), a rapidly growing non-banking financial company (NBFC) based in Kochi, Kerala, is delighted to announce the appointment of Ms. Shalini Warrier as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Co-Promoter. In Tamil Nadu, the NBFC has presence in Coimbatore, Erode, Salem, Dindigul, Trichy and Madurai
Ms. Warrier, currently an Executive Director with Federal Bank, will shortly be stepping out of the Bank to embark on entrepreneurial journey with Gosree Finance Ltd. The appointment will be effective June 02, 2025.
Before Federal Bank, Ms. Warrier had a distinguished career at Standard Chartered Bank, spanning twenty-five years, during which she held key leadership roles across various regions, including India, Brunei, Indonesia, Singapore, and the United Arab Emirates. Her significant contributions to the Indian banking sector and her unique position as one of the few women from Kerala to hold senior positions in the financial industry underscore her exceptional leadership skills.
Ms. Warrier`s influence extends beyond the banking sector. She is a distinguished member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, where she achieved the All-India First Rank in her CA batch. Her active role in the Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) and the Indian Women Network of CII at the Southern Regional level demonstrates her influence and leadership in the industry.
