Tamil Nadu Class 10 & 11 State Board Exam Results Announced: Girls Outshine Boys Again
The School Education Department of Tamil Nadu officially declared the State Board exam results for Classes 10 and 11 today (Friday). The results, available on www.tnresults.nic.in, https://www.tnresults.nic.in mark a significant academic milestone for the 2024-25 academic year.
Class 10 Results:
- Overall Pass Percentage: 93.80%
- Girls: 95.88%
- Boys: 91.74%
The Sivagangai district topped the Class 10 chart with a stunning 98.31% pass rate, followed by Virudhunagar at 97.45% and Thoothukudi at 96.76%.
Chennai Corporation schools showed notable progress, with a 7% increase in the pass rate compared to last year.
Class 11 Results:
- Overall Pass Percentage: 92.09%
- Girls: 95.13%
- Boys: 88.70%
This year, over 9.13 lakh students appeared for the Class 10 exams, while 8.18 lakh students registered for Class 11 exams.
Class 12 Recap:
The Class 12 results were released earlier on May 8, with an impressive 95.03% overall pass rate recorded statewide.
