Gandhi Police Medal for four policemen

The Tamilnadu Government has chosen four police officials for the Gandhi Adigal Police Medal for their outstanding work in curbing illicit liquor. The medals will be conferred on them by Chief Minister Jayalalithaa on Republic Day next year along with a cash award of Rs 20,000.
T P Sureshkumar, Additional Superintendent of Police, Crime (in charge), Prohibition Enforcement Wing, Erode District, A V Mathi, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Central Investigation Unit (South), Chennai, S Periyasamy, Inspector of Police, Central Investigation Unit, Salem and R Devaraj, Head Constable, Appakoodal Police Station, Erode District are those who have been chosen for the medals.
