Amazing recognition now for TN and for its 3 cities for implementing smart city projects!!

There is a splendid reason now for the citizens of TN to feel happy and proud!!
For implementing the smart city projects successfully, the state of TN has been awarded for getting second place. Municipal corporations like Coimbatore, Thoothukudi and Thanjavur etc were awarded best cities award by Indian President Droupadi Murmu.
According to a release from the Government of TN, the Union Ministry for Housing and Urban Affairs has been organising a competition for India`s most beautiful city. Accordingly, as per the competition for the year 2022, the state of TN has been chosen as the second best nationally. It was brought out that in the competition for best clean city in India the cities in TN like Coimbatore Corporation was awarded first place in the south zone with respect to efficiency and finance etc.
For the best implementation of Cultural and Heritage Restoration, Thanjavur Corporation has been awarded third place. For best implementation of digital technology to improve education, the Thoothukudi Corporation has been awarded third place now. It is worthy to mention that at Indore in Madhya Pradesh the Indian president Droupadi murmur gave the awards to Mr. T. Karthikeyan, Municipal Administration Department Secretary.
