Additional Stops for Express Trains Announced

The Railway Board has approved additional stoppages for select trains on an experimental basis. Here are the details:
1. Train No. 16729/16730: Madurai – Punalur – Madurai Daily Express
- Experimental stoppages at Kovilpatti and Satur Stations from 20th September, 2023.
2. Train No. 16779/16780: Tirupati – Rameswaram – Tirupati Tri-Weekly Express
- Experimental stoppage at Arni Road Station (Tirupati) from 25th September, 2023.
- Experimental stoppage at Arni Road Station (Rameswaram) from 24th September, 2023.
3. Train No. 16849/16850: Tiruchchirappalli – Rameswaram – Tiruchchirappalli Daily Express
- Experimental stoppage at Keeranur Station from 20th September, 2023.
4. Train No. 16865/16866: Chennai Egmore – Thanjavur – Chennai Egmore Uzhavan Daily Express
- Experimental stoppage at Cuddalore Port Jn. Station from 20th September, 2023.
5. Train No. 17407/17408: Tirupati – Mannargudi – Tirupati Pamani Tri-Weekly Express
- Experimental stoppages at Polur and Tirukkovilur Stations from 26th September, 2023 (Polur) and 25th September, 2023 (Tirukkovilur).
6. Train No. 20691/20692: Tambaram – Nagercoil – Tambaram Antyodaya Daily Superfast Express
- Experimental stoppage at Satur Station from 20th September, 2023.
7. Train No. 20973/20974: Ajmer – Rameswaram – Ajmer Humsafar Weekly Superfast Express
- Experimental stoppages at Pudukkottai and Ramanathapuram Stations from 23rd September, 2023 (Pudukkottai) and 26th September, 2023 (Ramanathapuram).
8. Train No. 22605/22606: Purulia – Villupuram – Purulia Bi-Weekly Superfast Express
- Experimental stoppage at Tirukkovilur Station from 25th September, 2023 (Purulia) and 27th September, 2023 (Villupuram).
9. Train No. 22613/22614: Rameswaram – Ayodhya Cantonment – Rameswaram Shraddha Sethu Weekly Superfast Express
- Experimental stoppages at Ramanathapuram and Karaikkudi Stations from 24th September, 2023 (Rameswaram) and 20th September, 2023 (Ayodhya Cantt).
10. Train No. 16791/16792: Tirunelveli – Palakkad – Tirunelveli Palaruvi Daily Express
These additional stoppages aim to improve connectivity and convenience for passengers. Travelers are advised to check the updated schedules for these trains.
