Citizens! Be aware! Special Camp for changing names in the electricity connection! Avail of this!

In a notification released regarding electric power connections by TANGEDCO (Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Company), it is mentioned:
"Taking into consideration the welfare of the citizens of the State of Tamil Nadu and to prevent the hardships they face while applying to change the name on their power connection, and in line with the emphasis given by Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin that the name change as given in the application MUST be done on the date of payment itself, a special name change camp is being organized from the 24th of July (Monday) for 1 month in all the Section Offices by TANGEDCO.
The facility to change the name of the connection is presently available ONLINE on the official website of the Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Company (TANGEDCO).
However, as a measure to prevent the hardships faced by the citizens while applying for a name change in their electricity connection, a special "Name Change Camp" is being organized to carry out the name change immediately upon payment from the 24th of July (Monday) for 1 month in all the section offices of TANGEDCO.
These special Name Change Camps will function from 9.00 AM to 5.00 PM on all working days, except Sundays and holidays."
