What is the latest regarding the Pattabiram ROB?

Instead of a level crossing, twin ROB or road overbridges would be constructed at Pattabiram military siding.
Now, the news is that the first of the twin ROBs here would be ready by the month of November. Truth is that nearly 60% of work to build Rs 73 crores worth ROBs has been completed.
The land acquisition for a small piece of land was in the final stages and it had to be cleared to complete the 11m wide bridge. It is now revealed that the work on the construction of 16 deck slabs that form the bridge has been speeded up.
The Southern Railways or SR has called for the fresh tenders for the construction work of the other ROB and this was revealed by a source from Highways dept. The sources added that only when the work gets completed then the construction of 2 adjacent deck slabs to connect the rest of the structure would be carried out.
As per a resident from Pattabiram, the roads near ROB have many potholes and must be relaid soon. He explained that though the work began in 2017 itself the actual construction started in 2018 only. He concluded that more than 6 years have gone by.
