Good news about the flyover construction work at South Usman Road in Chennai!!

With the foundation stone for the flyover at south Usman Road being laid on Wednesday, 8th March 2023, it is now mentioned that the construction work would start soon and would be completed in another 2 years. This was as per the municipal administration minister Mr. KN. Nehru. The minister also laid the foundation stones for ROB at Ganesapuram and Manali Road too.
At a cost of Rs 131 crores, the flyover at south Usman Road would be constructed and it would be 1.2km long and 840m wide. The flyover would benefit about 2lakhs people as 40000 vehicles could take the road every day.
There are various work orders issued by the minister and these are work orders for new toilets construction, existing toilets renovation, urinals and bathrooms at 372 places in Royapuram, Thiru Vi Ka Nagar and Teynampet. At a cost of Rs 430 crores, the work would be executed in public-private partnership.
Later, the minister caught the attention when he commissioned a fully air-conditioned bus with 2 digital ECG, 2 ECHO machines and automatic blood sampling equipment. It is now revealed that the GCC would carry out cardiac check-ups( through the mobile cardiac examination bus) for the pregnant mothers and general public through camps at specific urban health centres on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
