The tourist attraction, the Ooty-Mettupalayam train service, has been resumed after a gap of 5 days.
This train operates from Mettupalayam (Coimbatore District) via Kunnur to Udhagamandalam (Ooty) for over 100 years!
Tourists are enthusiastically enjoying the travel on the mountain track, moving via dense forests, and can see wild animals such as cheetahs, bison and elephants while travelling.
In this scenario, the train from Mettupalayam to Ooty has resumed service after a gap of 5 days.
The train service was stopped for 5 days due to a landslide.
