Onion prices may touch Rs.100 per kg
After petrol price, the common man is being trampled under consistent price rise, be it food or fuel. The latest being skyrocketing prices of onions across the country. From Delhi to Kolkata to Chennai to Assam to Patna, prices have shot up in fact, doubled in just one month. Market watchers even predict that the prices may touch the 100 per kg mark. Leaving everything on nature`s fury, the Government has nothing but hollow lip service to offer.
