PUDHUMAI PENN THITTAM - TOMORROW is the last day to apply for getting Rs 1000 per month in TN!!

It is known that the TN government is providing an amount of Rs 1000 for higher studies for the girl students who have studied from 6th class to 12th class in government schools. Till tomorrow evening, 11th November 2022 the eligible girl students can apply for this.
It was on 5th September 2022 the CM of Tamilnadu Mr. M.K. Stalin announced this new scheme Pudhumai Penn for the girl students studying from class 6 to 12 in the government schools to help them to pursue higher education. Under this scheme, the girl students would be provided Rs 1000 per month.
Through website http://www.pudhumaipenn.tngov.in, the current first year girl students can also apply to get the amount of Rs 1000 per month. It is mentioned that the eligible girl students would be able to get registered through their colleges under this scheme till tomorrow evening by online process. Those girl students who have studied from class 6 to 12 th in the government schools in TN alone would be eligible for this scheme. Information is that the eligible girl students could apply under the scheme through their educational institutions only and not directly.
Special camps would be held at the educational institutes till tomorrow evening to help the eligible girl students get registered under this important scheme. The eligible students have been asked to bring their Aadhar card plus EMIS number, certificates etc without fail. Those eligible girl students studying in the 2nd , 3rd and 4th year now can also apply for this amount of Rs 1000.
It is now said that those students who have any doubt regarding the application process etc could contact a help centre operating at the state level in the office of Directorate General of Social Welfare from Monday to Friday from 10am in the morning to 5pm in the evening. The eligible first year girl students have been asked to know about the application process correctly and then apply before the last date.
