What do you know about the sales of high end homes in Chennai?

Chennai has got many high end homes that cost between Rs 1.5 crore to Rs 5 crores. It is now revealed that the sales of these high end homes have been increasing steadily. This was according to Chennai based realtors and analysts. There are several reasons for the steady increase in the sales of the high end homes and they are improvement in the macro end situation, pent up demand after the Coronavirus pandemic and low interest rates of house loans etc.
It was highlighted by Mr. Naveen, director of Naveen properties that post pandemic changes in the lifestyle has played a huge role in the increase in the sales of high end homes. There is now more need to have extra rooms, bigger and better homes when compared to the past. This has been due to the work from home and hybrid work culture etc. It is learnt that the prices in this segment are stable for almost 10 years.
It was later bought out by Anarock, a property research firm that the number of luxury units in Chennai has increased more than 3 times between 2019 to the first half of 2022.There are now several discounts that are being offered on the luxury properties.
