At Pei Karumbu in Rameswaram in Tamil Nadu, a national memorial was constructed at the final resting place of Dr. APJ. Abdul Kalam, former president of India.
Till now, many people have been visiting this national memorial of the former Indian president is known. Yesterday, 15th August 2022 India celebrated its 75th Independence Day.
It is learnt that on average about 8000 people visit this place on normal weekdays and on the weekends 15000 people come here. On Monday, 15th August 2022 on the account of Independence Day, the national memorial witnessed a milestone of having crossed one crore visitors.
