Information is gathered that the central government is planning to reduce the prices of some vital drugs for illnesses such as cancer, diabetes, and heart-related complaints from 15th August!
A considerable number of the citizens suffer from the above illnesses and more than 60% of them are generally spending large amounts on medicines!
The Central Government has prepared a recommendation in this regard to reduce the agony of the above patients both illness-wise and expenditure-wise!
However, the announcement is under review and is still to be released!
Officials informed that the central government is keen on reducing the prices of some vital medicines!.
In case the above recommendations of the central government are implemented, it is understood that the prices of some medicines will come down by as much as 70%!
The Central Government Minister for Health, Mansukh Mandaviya, has invited the medical representatives, for a detailed discussion and review of the above recommendations of the central government.
An analysis of the prices of the various medicines, it is established that there are prospects of the sales of these medicines going up by as much as 1000%!!
Apart from certain medicines whose prices are directly under the control of the central government, pharmaceutical manufacturing companies have the right to fix the price of the medicines. The prices of these medicines can be revised by 10% each year!
The commercial limits of these medicines are rather very high and also affect the patients in a commercial sense as well!
