Electricity charges to go up in Tamil Nadu! For consumption of it will be up by Rs. 275/-!

Electricity charges are to be revised soon in Tamil Nadu! This was informed by the Tamil Nadu State Government for Electricity, Santhi Balajitoday (Monday, 18th July)!
The Minister further informed that the central government has insisted on revising the electricity charges upwards 28 times!
There is no change in the scheme offering no charges for consumption under 100 units!
� For consumption of 600-700 Unite � Rs. 7275/- (for 2 months)
� For 500-600 unis � Rs. 155 (for 2 months)
� For 600 units and more � Rs. Rs. 298.50 (per month)
� For 300-400 units- Rs.Rs. 147.50 (per month)
� For 301-400 units � (Rs. 147.50 per month)
� Up to 200 units � proposed to increase by Rs. 27.50 per month
� For handlooms, up to 750 units will be given free!
Minister for Electricity, Senthil Balaji assured that the revision of charges will be done taking care NOT to affect the Public acutely!
