Chennaites must feel happy and proud that IIT-Madras has been announced as the top educational institute in entire India in the overall ranking of all the higher educational institutions.
In the NIRF-2022 ranking, Indian Institute of Science or IISC Bangalore has been adjudged as the best university in India.
On Thursday, 14th July 2022 NIRF-2022 National Ranking for Higher Educational Institutions was released by Union education minister Mr. Dharmendra Pradhan. It is noteworthy that Jawaharlal University has been adjudged as the second best university in India. Delhi based Jamia Millia Islamia has been adjudged as the third best university in the country. Jadavpur university of Kolkata is at number four in India.
Coimbatore based Amrita Viswa Vidyapeeth has now got the fifth place in the rankings and is followed by Banaras Hindu University of Varanasi at sixth place.
It must be taken into note that IIT-Mumbai has been ranked third best educational institution followed by IIT Delhi at fourth place. In fifth position is IIT Kanpur now. In the NIRF 2022 Miranda House belonging to Delhi has been adjudged as the best colleges in India.
Hindu College of Delhi is at second place and is followed by Presidency College of Chennai at third place. Loyola College of Chennai is placed at fourth place and Delhi based Lady Shri Ram College is ranked fifth across India.
The sensational piece of information is that IIT Madras is ranked the top most educational institute in India in the field of engineering, Truth is that IIT M tops in both engineering as well as NIRF overall ranking.
New Delhi based Jamia Hamdard is ranked first in India in the field of pharmacy. Hyderabad based National Institute of Pharmacy Education and Research is ranked second. In third place is Punjab University of Chandigarh and is followed by Mohali based National Institute of Pharmacy and Education and Research.
