JNNSM initiates 1759.43 MW projects
Under the Jawaharlal Nehru National Solar Mission (JNNSM), nearly 1759.43 megawatts (MW) of grid connected solar power projects were launched on 31st May 2013. This JNNSM is a program initiative to encourage the usage of solar energy in India. This is getting done across the country under 3 varied phases.
The Press Information Bureau (PIB) has given a report about these three phases. They are:
� Migration scheme - 11 projects of 50.50 MW capacity
� Batch one of solar mission � 26 projects of 130 MW
� 69 projects of 88.8 MW
