Sensational news!! New attendance method to be followed in all offices of GCC Chennai!!

This piece of news would be a huge surprise for many employees of GCC now.
The development of new technologies has been superb in the last few years and these technologies have been used for various purposes.
Point is that there are as many as 14897 employees including sanitary workers working for GCC or Greater Chennai Corporation. To avoid unnecessary issues, a new technology would be used hereafter for the sake of attendance of these employees of GCC. It is superb to mention here that a face detection based attendance system would be followed.
It is noteworthy that a biometric attendance system is being used in the zones where private solid waste management contractors are working. Till now, the employees have been putting their signatures in the attendance registers at the corporation offices and sanitary workers have been signing their names twice. This was revealed by a release from the GCC.
It is now brought out that for the purpose of timely signing by the employees of GCC biometric attendance system with face detection has been introduced now. As many as 315 biometric devices would be kept at all its offices including Ripon Buildings, zonal offices, ward offices etc. Point is that after the biometric system has been installed then the attendance system would be implemented.
