FOR THE FIRST-EVER TIME IN THE COUNTRY: PRIVATE SECTOR TRAIN - FROM COIMBATORE TO SHIRDI TO OPERATE TODAY (14TH JUNE) AT 6.00 pm!!!

For the First-ever-time, a private sector is set to operate in the country from Coimbatore to Shirdi commences today (Tuesday, 14th June)!!
After the central government approved private sector train operation, this is the first train to operate! This train is scheduled to run weekly once.
This special train is scheduled to start today from Coimbatore at 6.00 PM to Shirdi. A private company undertakes all the responsibilities from issuing tickets to maintaining!
This train operation is given to the public sector under the Prime Minister�s �Bharath Gaurav� and the responsibility of the infrastructure, the interior d�cor of the train, etc., is with the private company.
The train is presently stationed at Pothanur Railway Station. Southern Railway General Manager P G Mallayya and Salem Division Manager Gautham Srinivasan conducted a detailed monitoring survey.
They discussed with the officials to know the details of the facilities given to the passengers of this train!
They noted down the details, especially, safety measures, catering arrangements, and charging of cell phones, and also undertook the monitoring of the things like the bedding and blankets given to the passengers undertaking the journey!
However, there have been strong protests against handing over the railway operations to the private sector not only from the State of Tamil Nadu (Members of Parliament) but also from other states as well!
As such, in this scenario, it is worth noting that the first-ever private sector is all set to commence operations from today (Tuesday, 14th June) from Coimbatore!
