Happy news for the Chennai residents regarding last mile connectivity!!

Residents who are depending mostly on the Chennai metro trains to reach their destinations often complain about the lack of last mile connectivity. This issue would not be there anymore.
The CMRL or Chennai Metro Rail Limited is having discussions with MTC and soon mini buses would be operated from 5 more metro stations in Chennai to help the commuters.
It was highlighted by some officials belonging to CMRL that 2 mini buses each would be operated from the Government Estate, Guindy, Little Mount, Shenoy Nagar and Airport etc to the neighbouring areas.
It is learnt that the introduction of feeder bus services have been superb in Chennai as many people started using metro trains to reach their destinations. As many as 12 mini buses have been introduced in 6 routes is well known. Information is that now these 10 buses would run in 5 routes from the above said stations. CMRL officials spoke about how the commuters would get the facility soon.
