3-DAYS Food Festival Chennai Aavadi - Milk and Dairy Development Minister Nasser!

The State Government Minister for Milk and Dairy products Development, Nasser, has informed us that a Food Festival is scheduled to be celebrated in Chennai Avadi for 3 days from 10th to 12th June!
On the occasion of the Silver Jubilee year (Completion of 25 years) of the Thiruvallur District, on behalf of the District Administration and the Department of Food Safety, there is a plan to conduct a Food Festival in Avadi.
In this regard, the State Minister for Milk and Dairy Development Nasser shared:
�Thiruvallur district was formed separated from the Kanchipuram District and it is completing 25 years now! On this grand Silver Jubilee Occasion of the creation of Thiruvallur District, on behalf of the District Administration and the Department of Food Safety, there is a plan to conduct a Grand Food Festival in Avadi from 10th to 12th June!
This Food Festival will signal the beginning of a new chapter in the history of Indian Food and also would be an occasion to provide the residents of Thiruvallur District residents with safe and healthy food dishes.
Right from the local restaurants, the various restaurants not only from throughout India but also from several countries across the globe, especially, 150 popular and eminent 150 restaurants participating in this Food Festival!
In this food festival, different exotic food items such as �Palgoa� (Milk-cake) prepared from Aavin Milk, the world�s tallest Faluda icecream, and providing food for 1 lakh citizens under the scheme, �Let us not waste food but share!�, further, �recycling of oil once used under the scheme �reuse of used oil� using 1 Lakh kilo-litres of used oil for making bio-diesel, etc., will be shown creating new world-class achievements!
Further, to attract all-age groups, many arts and cultural events and competitions are being organized.
, The winners of these competitive events will be given stunning gifts, Also, competitions such as �Arusuvai Arasan�, �Arusuvai Arasi�, �Arusuvai Prince�, and �Arusuvai Princess� are also to be conducted and the winners conferred with these titles! Attractive prizes are on offer even to visitors who do not compete in events!
Further, on the final day of the food festival, on the occasion of the 75th Anniversary of the country`s independence, a special �Food Safety Awareness March� will be conducted!
