Why would more residents be visiting the famous Victoria Hall in Chennai?

In future, don�t be surprised if you come across community spaces, restaurants, museums etc at the Victoria Hall in Chennai!!
Victoria Hall in Park Town in Chennai has been hosting many meetings but has been closed for the sake of renovation works. Now it is said that this Victoria hall would be reopened for public meetings etc after renovation works gets completed. This was stated by some officials belonging to the Chennai Corporation.
It must be noted that in the year 1016 Victoria Hall witnessed the formation of the Justice Party that paved the way for the Dravidian Movement later. The good news is that the DPR or detailed project report is ready now and many leaders want this iconic structure renovated now.
There would be community spaces and restaurants at this famous hall apart from restoring the structure and establishing a museum. This was according to the project plan. It was necessary to create community space where history and contemporary cultural and recreational needs meet. It was mentioned by an officer from GCC that on the first floor there would be an exhibition space plus a public hall for hosting seminars and conferences etc.
About museum:
People would be able to witness several things regarding the significance of Chennai city at the museum as these would be displayed permanently. It is learnt that the themes of other display items would be changed every 3 months. By this, many Chennaites would show interest to come here on a regular basis.
There would be restaurants at the ground floor and the space around the building would be used for open-air exhibitions and outdoor events etc. A consultant would play a role in conducting several events here. It is now revealed that a tender for the project for an estimated amount of Rs 28.7 crores would be floated soon.
