Peak Summer - Agni Nakshatram - to commence on 4th May! Will last until 28th May with scorching heat!

With the summer intensifying and approaching its most scorching days, the real summer peak called �Agni Naksathram in Tamil is set to commence on 4th May! 

It is announced that the Agni Naksathram session will last until; 28th May! 

The summer has intensified in severity over the last week! As of day-before-yesterday (Saturday, 30th April), a maximum temperature of 110 Degrees Fahrenheit has been recorded in Kanchipuram!

As an indication that the scorching heat will continue, the peak summer �Agni Nakshatram� is all set to commence in 2 days, on 4th May! 

The Astrology experts predict that this year, this peak summer will last until 28th May! 

However, as per the Chennai Regional Meteorological Centre estimation/observation, the summer season is from March to May. It has been announced that several districts will record a maximum temperature, higher by 3 Degrees Celsius as compared to average, will be recorded! 

100 Degrees Fahrenheit crossed in 13 places! 

As of yesterday (Sunday, 1st May) evening, a maximum temperature of 107 Degrees Fahrenheit (42 Degrees Celsius) has been recorded in Tiruthani and Vellore. 

In 13 places including Trichy (41 degrees Celsius), Madurai, Kanchipuram, Karur, Paramathi (40 Degrees Celsius), Salem, Erode, Madhavaram, (39 degrees Celsius), Chennai Airport, Dharmapuri, Thanjavur, Thirunelveli (38 Degree4s Celsius) were recorded crossing the 1100 Degrees Fahrenheit mark!
