6000 special buses to be operated to Thiruvannamalai on the occasion of Chithra Pournami!

It is expected that there would be over 25 Lakhs devotees would visit Tiruvannamalai on the occasion of Chithra Pournami.
All arrangements are being made to facilitate the devotees to have Darshan.
9 temporary bus stations are being set up. Medical camps are also set up for the devotees� facility. Fire-fighting equipment is installed and kept ready. 24 �Hours� electric power facility is arranged. Emergency medical attention is provided. Drinking water facility has been made.
40 locations have been identified for distribution of free food (Annadhanam) to the devotees. 70 organisations have registered for this so far.

Apart from this, to facilitate the devotees planning to undertake �Girivalam� (taking a devotional walk by foot around the bottom of the mountain), 6000 special buses are being organized from Chennai, Vellore, Villupuram, Salem, Pondycherry, Kanchipuiram, Trichy, Coimbatore, Madurai and Bangalore, etc.
Further, special trains have also been arranged!
