Phenomenon never witnessed before - Chennai commuters surprised now

In the past, there have been several complaints from the passengers regarding the suburban trains in Chennai not running on correct time. This delay is no more an issue for the Chennai commuters.
The time schedule has been issued by the Chennai division belonging to the Southern Railways or SR and the suburban trains have been arriving punctually on time. The punctuality of the suburban trains in Chennai has touched 95% from the first week of February. It is known that from February onwards many Covid-19 restrictions were removed and the public were allowed to use the suburban trains to reach their destinations.
The sensational piece of news is that there has been 100percent compliance with the time schedule for MRTS trains operated between Chennai Beach and Velachery. This was according to a senior officer. Information gathered is that on the MRTS route as many as 2301 trains were operated and 2300 trains were able to reach the stations exactly at the published time.
The MRTS has become the most dependable and most economic public transport service in Chennai now. As many as17324 train services were operated by the Chennai division of SR and 95.1% punctuality with trains was achieved in 16481 schedules reaching the stations on correct time.
