Applications may be submitted from today (Monday, 14 March) for the Teachers Eligibility Test (TET)!

The Teachers� Recruitment Board (TRB) has announced that interested candidates may apply ONLINE for writing the Teachers� Eligibility Test (TET) from today (Monday, 14th March).
As per the Central Government Free Mandatory Education Act, it is mandatory that all the Intermediate Level teachers and B. Ed. Graduate teachers MUST pass the Teachers� Eligibility Test TET).
In Tamil Nadu, the Teachers� Legibility Test is conducted by the Teachers� Recruitment Board.
The Teachers� Recruitment Board (TRB) released the announcement for conducting the Teachers� Eligibility Test for 2022 on 7th March.
Further, TRB had announced that the applications may be sent ONLINE.
As per this, applying for the Teachers� Eligibility Test (TET) commences from today (Monday, 14th March).
Candidates who have completed Intermediate Level teachers Training will have to write Paper-1.
Candidates who have completed B. Ed. have to write Paper-2.
Candidates who are eligible to have the required academic qualifications can apply ONLINE � the website � www.trb.in.nic.in - and apply.
Application Fee for the common or general cadre candidates I Rs. 500/-. For the candidates belonging to the cadre of Sc or ST or differently-abled, the application fee is Rs. 250/-.
No age Limit has been declared for writing TET.
Candidates who are in the final year of the Intermediate Teacher Training Course or B. Ed. course are also eligible to apply!
The teachers� recruitment Board has informed that the dates of the Teachers� Eligibility Test will be announced later.
