Retirement age and pension amount would be increased by the central government!!
Many suggestions regarding an increase in the pension amount have been coming now. In this scenario, the central government has been involved in the advice. It is now said that the economic advisory council has recommended this to the PM of India Mr. Narendra Modi. It must be taken into account that there were suggestions about increasing the working age limit of the employees.
To improve the security of the senior citizens, the central government would soon announce a decision on pension rise and retirement age etc. The report has mentioned that there was a need to increase the age of retirement for the number of working age persons to increase. It is learnt that in the report the skill development of the employees who were more than 50 years of age was also brought out. The central as well as the state government must develop skill development policies.
By the year 2050, there would be 32 crores senior citizens in India and this was as per 2019 census. It is true that in India around 19.5percent of the population would belong to the retired senior citizens. To help these senior citizens to get benefited, increase in the retirement age and pension etc, have been recommended.
