Reason for the temporary shutting down of Tasmac shops in TN revealed!!

The news that has come out now is that due to the local body elections, from the morning of 17th February till the night on 19th February and due to the counting of votes etc on 22nd February 2022 all Tasmac shops would be shut down in the state of Tamil Nadu.
It was mentioned by the district collector J. Jayamani in a statement that on 19th February local body elections would be held in TN. Just a day before voting day on 17th February from 10am in the morning till 19th February till 12pm in the midnight, 22nd February the day on which counting would take place all Tasmac shops would be closed down. It was mentioned that all licensed bars from FL-2 to FL-11 would be closed down but FL-6 bars only would be opened. No liquor selling would be allowed on the above said days in Tamil Nadu.
