New: E-Passport introduced for citizens! The benefits!

India has agreed with all countries except the USA and Britain and a few other countries under the regulations of ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organisation)!
As such, a new identity, E-Passport, which has fingerprint-proof, is being introduced.
In this type of Passport, the record of the passport holder�s visits to other countries, the number of days stayed there, etc., will be registered. As such, it would be easier for these E$-Passport holders to complete getting the VISA formalities Otherwise, as per the normal procedure, the traveller needs to visit the relevant embassies, wait for hours and sometimes need to visit more than once as well! Now, with the introduction of E$-Passport, all these cumbersome activities will be eliminated
While presenting the budget in the parliament, the Central Finance Minister Nirmala Seetharaman, while presenting this development, shared:
�The new E-Passport, incorporated with an electronic chip, is set to be introduced in 2022-23. With this, the planned foreign travels for the citizens would be and associated preparatory activities will be rendered easier and simpler!�
In the present Passport, only the details of Date of Birth, temporary and permanent personal details, and details of parents only;y are registered! Even Aadhar Number does not get included!
As such, this gives scope to illegal activities such as a single person, hiding his first passport details, getting a second passport in a different name, etc., having been detected and cases registered!
These varieties of illegal issues will be prevented under this new E-Passport system. The E-Passports are ready and printed and available at the Indian Defence Printing.
