Know about the Pongal Special buses from Chennai to various places in TN

Pongal festival is just round the corner and people in Tamil Nadu are getting ready for this amazing festival!!
As many persons would be going to their native places from Chennai to celebrate Pongal,, from Tuesday onwards, the Tamil Nadu Transport Corporations would be operating Pongal festival special buses from the 5 bus terminals in Chennai.
It was mentioned by an official release that a total of 16768 buses including 10300 buses from Chennai city and 6468 buses between various destinations in Tamil Nadu would be operated for the public.
As many as 4,100 special buses would be operated in Chennai and this would be in addition to the regular services of 2100 buses every day from the 5 bus terminals. From 11th to 13th January, as many as 6300 buses would be operated. People would be able to board buses for long distance places from 5 bus terminals located in places such as Madhavaram, Tambaram, Poonamallee, CMBT and K.K. Nagar.
Those who want to go to places like Nagapattinam, Trichy, Madurai, Salem, Velankanni, Tirunelveli, Coimbatore etc could board their buses from CMBT in Koyambedu. Those who want to go to places like Ponneri, Gummidipoondi and Uthukottai through Red Hills would have to board their buses from the Madhavaram bus terminal. From the K.K. Nagar bus terminal, people would be able to board their buses to places like Puducherry, Cuddalore and Chidambaram through ECR.
Public going to places such as Tindivanam, Tiruvannamalai, Panruti, Vikravandi and Kumbakonam could board their buses from Tambaram MEPZ bus stand.
