Chief Minister inaugurates the special ambulance service for the corona infected!

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M. K. Stalin inaugurated the special Ambulance Service to carry the corona-infected patients to the hospitals.

There is an alarmingly increasing trend of the citizens infected with this third wave of the coronavirus pandemic and its variant, Omicron.

After a long gap, the number of infected citizens has crossed 5000 in the State of Tamil Nadu!

Over 2500 citizens have been infected in the Chennai Metro City alone!

There is a considerable increase in the number of citizens affected by the coronavirus and its variant, Omicron and getting admitted in the hospitals.

As such, intending to provide prompt medical assistance to carry the infected citizens to the hospitals, the State Government of Tamil Nadu has introduced the Special Ambulance Services.

Corona Ambulance

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin inaugurated this Corona Special Ambulance Service today (Thursday, 6th January) at the Chief Secretariat of the Tamil Nadu State Government, flagging off the ambulance!

The Chief Minister inaugurated the first phase of 12 special ambulances of the Greater Chennai Corporation (GCC).

GCC has released an announcement that the services of these special ambulances would be available for the 15 Zones in Chennai Metro City.

Each Zone has been provided with 3 ambulances. The services would be available 24-hours a day!

The public, affected by a coronavirus and getting admitted to the hospital, need to call 1913 OR 25384520, The ambulance will arrive at the given address to take the patient to the hospital!

During this inaugural function, the State Ministers of Tamil Nadu, M. Subramanian (Health), Sekhar Babu (Hindu Religious Endowment), and the Health Department Secretary J. Radhakrishnan and the Commissioner of the Greater Chennai Corporation (GCC) Gagandeep Singh and other senior officials participated!
