No ban for devotees to visit temples on New Year Day!

It is informed that in Madurai, there is NO BAN on the devotees to visit temples at midnight. on the dawn of the New Year!
On the occasion of the British New Year, the temples will remain open and Special Poojas will be performed on this occasion!
The Tamil Nadu State Minister for Hindu Religious Endowment, Sekar Babu has appealed to the devotees visiting the temple to WEAR FACIAL MASKS AND OBSERVE SOCIAL DISTANCING!
