How well do you know about the ONE NATION ONE RATION scheme?
By the ONE NATION ONE RATION scheme, other state workers would be able to buy ration items from any ration shops in the country. Truth is that whatever rations items these persons could get from their own states they could now get from outside states too. In other words, these workers and their families could access PDF benefits from any fair price shop in India.
The Coronavirus pandemic has led to many restrictions and this made the lives of people difficult. People were allowed to come out in the open only for essential works. All the industries suffered as they were shut down. The daily needs of the people were not met due to the restrictions etc.
In this scenario, the Indian government announced an important scheme to help the people. Through this scheme, by means of a public distribution system, shortage of food for the marginalized people is being reduced is a well known fact. It is said that this superb scheme would remove loss of income and shortage of food etc in the country in the future.
It must be noted that in this ONE NATION ONE RATION scheme under the National Food Security Act a person would be able to carry ration cards all over India easily. In 34 states and UTs, this scheme currently has about 75 crore beneficiaries through 23 crores ration cards.
It is superb to mention here that under this scheme all eligible ration card holders under NFSA would be able to avail ration cards from anywhere in India.
Launched under ONORC, Mera Ration processor is available in several Indian languages such as English, Hindi, Oriya, Punjabi and Tamil. The statistics have revealed that 90% of ration cards have been linked with Aadhar number but just 37% ration cards were linked with mobile number.
