Pongal special: Special Pongal gift pack for Pongal festival to be distributed from 3rd January!

The special Pongal Gift Pack, announced by the Tamil Nadu State Government, is to be distributed from 3rd January 2022.
The Government Order regarding this was released by the Tamil Nadu State Government was released last Thursday (16th December).
21 items are to be given in this special Pongal gift pack, including sugarcane, sugar, rice, and the cloth bag!
The State Government of Tamil Nadu had allotted funds of Rs. 1080 Crores for this special Pongal Gift offer for the family ration cardholders.
The task of procuring the required quantities of all the 21 items is being expedited and in progress.
It is expected all the related activities of procurement will be completed within the next 10 days. Subsequently, the special Pongal Gift Pack is to be distributed to the 2,15 Crores citizens to the family rice ration cardholders and the Sri Lankan Tamils living in the refugee camps.
The State Government of Tamil Nadu has planned to complete the distribution of the Pongal Special gift packs through all the Fair Price Shops throughout the Tamil Nadu State.
