Large scale bursting of crackers on Deepavali in Chennai: Air pollution level crosses 800!

As a huge quantity of crackers was burst in the Chennai Metro City on Deepavali celebrated with pomp yesterday (Thursday, 4th November), air pollution level has crossed 800!
However, information is given that today (Friday, 5th November), the air pollution level has come down and is registered at 181!
Air Pollution Level at the US Consulate area is recorded at 181, at Manali, it is recorded at 154, and in Velacherry, it is recorded at 85. In Alandur, the air pollution level is recorded at 18!
