Dance, music, feast, bursting of crackers!! Sounds amazing right!!
Yes, it is the time to have fun. The festival of joy or diwali was celebrated superbly across Tami Nadu yesterday. The rains have been pouring and despite the rains the north Indian communities belonging to major cities like Chennai, Coimbatore, Madurai and Trichy celebrate deepavali with great happiness.
The houses belonging to the Marwari community were decorated and it was amazing. It must be noted that in Ashok Nagar in Chennai the Marwari community members gathered at a hall. They all danced to the tunes of many Hindi film songs.
According to a pawn broker residing in Ashok Nagar, deepavali could not be celebrated properly in 2020 due to the Coronavirus pandemic situation. In this year, diwali was celebrated with pomp and grandeur.
In Coimbatore there are many people belonging to the Jain community and they all gathered at Saibaba Colony to have fun yesterday. It was later mentioned by an owner of a textile distribution company that people do not like to miss the festival of joy or deepavali. He spoke about how his roots belonged to Delhi and how he and his siblings were brought up in Coimbatore. Truth is that the entire community has assembled at this colony for deepavali celebrations. He threw light on how the festival was celebrated with dance, music feast, bursting of crackers etc
It is known that there is a time restriction in bursting crackers and most communities in Chennai and in various parts of Tamil Nadu burst crackers in the stipulated time only.
