Who doesn�t want to relax and have fun during holidays?
For a four day holiday, by the end of next week, the Chennai residents have planned to visit Kolli Hills and Kashmir etc. Sounds amazing right!!
The travel and tourism experts have mentioned that in the last few weeks the number of enquiries for travel both domestic as well as international has touched nearly 50% of pre-Covid levels.
Maldives has been the favourite for many young couples now. This was according to Mr. S. Jeyasekaran, Travel Agents Association of India. By shelling out Rs 90000 to 1lakh for 3 nights and 4day stay at Maldives, young couples feel happy and they prefer this place. He added that going to Andaman and Nicobar Islands for Rs 35000 including airfare would be superb for many beach lovers
There are many from Chennai who want to go to Kashmir, Ladakh etc in the next weekend before the winter sets in. Down south, the Chennaites want to travel with their families and friends to new places as they have seen Puducherry, Mamallapuram etc.
It was revealed by Mr. Sriharan Balan of Madura Travels that people love to visit Yercaud, Yelagiri plus waterfalls in Kolli Hills etc. The tea estate in Kotagiri could be another place to travel for the residents. Kodanad and Valparai would also be fantastic for short trips. Not many know that Valparai in the south has many superb hotels and there are many sightseeing places there.
It is now brought out that Chennai based trekking enthusiasts would be going to places like Parambikulam, Masinagudi etc.
