Services related to smart Family Ration Cards can be availed at the Public Service Centres!

Now, a facility has been introducing in all the Public Service Centres to undertake the issue of new Smart Family Ration Cards, Removal of names in the card, addition of names, etc.
In a notification released by the Public Service Centre (CSC) functioning under the Central Ministry of the Electronics and Telecommunication in this regard, it is mentioned:
�There are over 3.7 Lakhs Common Service centres throughout the country! In these Common Service Centres, there is a facility to apply for new Smart Family Ration Cards, removal/addition of names in these smart family ration cards, ard, etc., can be carried out.
This Servic3e is being introduced with the mai9n objectives of streamlining the Public Distribution System (PDS) and also strengthening the PDS in the 2nd Grade cities.
In this regard, the Central Ministry/Department of the Public Distribution System has agreed with the CSC E-Governance Services India Limited.�
