To control the spread of Coronavirus infection, the government of Tamil Nadu has been taking many steps are well known to us. These steps have resulted in the reduction in the number of Coronavirus cases in TN. This has made the residents relieved and happy.
Things have changed now and in the last 1 week, there has been an increase in the number of Coronavirus cases. The government of Tamil Nadu has intensified the lock down to control the spread of this infection now.
It must be taken into note that the TN government had intensified the lock down in those districts with increased number of Coronavirus cases. The number of Covid-19 cases has been increasing slowly in Chennai city also. Inspite of the rise in the cases, the Chennai residents have been showing careless attitude towards wearing facemasks and maintaining social distancing. Gathering of people in public places must be totally avoided. The GCC or Greater Chennai Corporation has advised the residents to follow safety regulations of the government without fail. Truth is that there are more chances for the deadly Coronavirus infection to increase now in Chennai and due to this lockdown would come into effect in Chennai.
