Not all housewives but only these belonging to TN will get Rs 1000 per month!!

The DMK government in its election manifesto had earlier promised to do certain things if they came to power in Tamil Nadu. Truth is that the DMK government has been fulfilling the promises one by one. It is worthy to mention that there is now some delay in fulfilling the promises made due to the lack of funds.
The opposition parties have been making use of this delay to their advantage and they have been raising their voices against the DMK government. They have been forcing the DMK government to fulfil the promises immediately for the people. In this scenario, there is a huge expectation regarding the announcement of Rs 1000 per month (as promised before) for the housewives in TN.
The information regarding to whom the amount of Rs 1000 per month would be given has come out now. It is now said that those housewives who live in the huts plus those housewives who use 100 units of electricity have more chances of getting the amount of Rs 1000 per month.
It is known that TNEB has been supplying free electricity to those who live in the huts and for others 100 units of electricity is supplied for free. It also supplies 500 units of electricity at subsidised rates. The cost for this is being provided by the government of TN as a subsidy. In TN, there are as many as 11lakhs cottage electrical connections and 73lakhs families use less than 500 units of electricity.
Information collected is that only those housewives belonging to 84lakhs families would get Rs 1000 per month.
