Corridors of Sabarimalai Lord Ayyappan to be opened today! 15000 devotees to be allowed daily!

It has been announced that the corridors of the famous Sabarimalai Lord Ayyappan Temple will be opened today for the special poojas and prayers to be performed during the Tamil/Malayalam calendar month of Aavani.
Further, it has been announced that only 15000 devotees who have reserved online earlier will be permitted daily!
Melsanthi Sudhir Namboodri will perform the opening ceremony of the temp-le corridors at 5.00 PM and light the Deepam.
Then, the corridors will be closed again at 8.00 PM.
The temple corridors will be opened again at 4.00 AM on 17th August and the regular poojas will be performed.
The special ‘Onam’ poojas will be performed from the morning of 19th August.
The temple corridors will remain open throughout 24th August!
Apart from this, Ganapathy Homam, ‘Neyyabhishekham’, Usha Pooja, Kalababhishekham, Ucha Pooja, Deepaaradhanai, Padi Pooja, and Athaazha Pooja will be performed on ALL days.
Along with the above poojas/prayers, ‘Udhayasthamana Pooja’ will also be performed.
After this, the temple corridors will be closed at 10.00 PM on 23rd August.
During the poojas performed last month, 10000 devotees were permitted daily. However, now, as per the announcement from the Devasthanam, 15000 devotees who had reserved earlier online will be permitted daily during the Aavani month Thiruvona Poojas.
Further, the Devasthanam has announced that the Devotees MUST bring the double vaccination certificate or a corona negative certificate as per tests taken 48 hours earlier!
