Semester classes to start from 18th of August ANNA UNIVERSITY

Anna University has made it clear that the semester classes for the engineering courses would begin from 18th August 2021 for the present academic year.
The threat of Coronavirus infection is not yet over and it is now said that even in this current academic year the semester classes would take place through online.
For the second, third and final year students, semester classes would start from 18th August and it would be till 30th November. The classes would be conducted online. Orders regarding this have been issued by the Anna University to various engineering colleges.
It is learnt that the practical examinations for the students would be held on 2nd of December 2021 and from 13th of December semester examinations would be held. Information collected is that next semester would begin from 19th January 2022. It is well known that Anna University was established in the year 1978 and now this university is the affiliating authority for nearly 550 engineering colleges.
