Scheme of monthly payment of Rs. 1000/- to housewives - will this apply only to PHH, PHH-AAY ration cards?

5 types of family ration cards are distributed in the State of Tamil Nadu.
In most of these cards, only a Male�s Name is entered in the column � Family-head!
In this situation, it is gathered that the election promise was given by the ruling DMK of the monthly Rs. 1000/- payment to housewives may be implemented shortly.
At this juncture, rumours are floating in the various social networking media that this monthly payment for housewives will be applicable only for PHH and PHH-AAY type of smart ration cards and also ONLY IF A WOMAN�S PHOTOGRAPH IS REGISTERED IN THE COLUMN �FAMILY HEAD�!
Believing this, lakhs of citizens had applied for a change in their type of smart ration cards in the last 1 month!
When enquiring about this to the concerned department officials, they advise that THE PUBLIC MUST REFRAIN FROM BELIEVING ALL RUMOURS AS THE PROPER ANNOUNCEMENT IN THIS REGARD IS YET TO BE ISSUED!
In this regard, a majority of the citizens appeal that the State Government of Tamil Nadu must make a proper announcement regarding this monthly payment scheme of Rs. 1000/- for all housewives in order to clear all the confusions prevailing due to the various rumours!
It is clear that the rumour that the scheme would be valid ONLY FOR PHH & PHH-AAY cards is only a rumour!
As such, the public is further advised not to believe these rumours and end up getting cheated!
