Prospects for heavy rain today (3rd July) in 14 districts including Salem and Madurai!

The Chennai Regional Meteorological Centre has informed that there are prospects for heavy rains for 4 days in Tamil Nadu due to cyclonic format developed over the upper layers of the atmosphere and also due to the thermal convection phenomenon.
There are prospects for heavy rains with lightning and thunder in 14 districts in the State of Tamil Nadu � Salem, Dharmapuri, Kallakurichi, Thiruvannamalai, Ranippettai, Kanchipuram, Vellore, Krishnagiri, Theni, Dindigul, Madurai, Thirupathur, Villupuram, and Cuddalore.
There are prospects for mild rains in the other districts.
There are prospects for heavy rains in 1 or 2 places in most districts in the State for the next 4 days!
As strong, high-speed winds are likely to blow, the warning has been issued for the fishermen NOT TO VENTURE OUT for fishing in the region of the Bay of Mannar for 2 days and 4 days in the region of Arabian Sea!
