More relaxations in extended lockdown in 4 districts including Chennai!

Prevailing lockdown imposition has been extended until 5th July in Tamil Nadu.
However, a further set of relaxations have been announced for 4 districts � Chennai, Kanchipuram, Chengalpattu, and Thiruvallur.
- Permission has been given for the government offices and private organisations to deploy 100% staff/officials.
- All jewellery shops and textile shops are allowed to function WITHOUT AIR-CONDITIONING FROM 9.00 AM TO 7.00 PM WITH 50% STAFF.
- Permission has been granted for the commercial complexes to function from 9.00 AM to 7.00 PM with 50% of customers. However, the eateries/restaurants/hotels inside the commercial complexes will be allowed to give ONLY PARCELS.
- As for the film theatres, the ban continues. However, the religious worship spots are allowed to REMAIN OPEN STRICTLY FOLLOWING THE PREVENTIVE GUIDELINES. Special Archana`s/prayers and Kumbhabhishekhams are allowed to be performed.
- Sports groups are permitted to function from 6,00 AM to 9.00 PM and sports competitions can be held in the indoor/outdoors stadiums BUT WITHOUT SPECTATORS!
- The banks, Insurance Companies, ATM services are all allowed to function with 100% staff/officials.
- Personnel such as electricians/plumbers who undertake maintenance/complaint work in houses and residential apartments are allowed to work WITHOUT E-REGISTRATION. The above workers as well computer service personnel are allowed to work from 6.00 AM to 7.00 PM in residences and housing complexes.
- Information Technology Organisations are allowed to function with 50% staff/officials. Other industries are allowed to work with 100% staff/officials.
- Housing loan organising companies and non-banking financial organisations are allowed to function with 50% staff/officials.
- Physical Exercise Gyms and Yoga Centres are allowed to function without air-conditioning and with 50% staff.
- Museums and locations with items displayed under the archaeological department are allowed to function from 10.00 AM to 5.00 PM.
