Some relaxations announced on the prevalent lockdown!! Details:

100% lockdown imposition is being observed in the State of Tamil Nadu as a preventive measure against the raging resurgent coronavirus pandemic from 10th May until 24th May.
As per the order issued by the State Government of Tamil Nadu, only parcel services are allowed from the hotels/cafeterias and other eateries during the lockdown period! Amma canteens were allowed to function. Grocery shops, vegetable shops, fishy & meat shops were also allowed to function till 12.00 Noon.
In this scenario, the State Government of Tamil Nadu has recently allowed some more relaxations! As per this:
- Just like the groceries and vegetable shops, fruit shops will also be allowed to function till 12.00 Noon.
- All industrial units/factories are permitted to undertake the essential maintenance work with the minimum staff!
- For the essential 24-hours functioning industrial units that were allowed to function, service centres have been set up to solve the problems experienced by the above industrial units.This service centre functions at the Chennai Industrial Guideline Centre. - Just like the pharmacies following Allopathy are allowed to be open throughout the day, it is announced other medical shops selling homoeopathic, Ayurvedic, and organic cure me dines will also be allowed to function throughout the day.
