24 hours Free Food available in Chennai Metro City from today (11th May)!

Tamil Nadu State Government Minister Sekar Babu is inaugurating a new 24-hours free food scheme at the Chennai Rajiv Gandhi General Hospital today (Tuesday, 11th May)!
As a measure to prevent the raging spread of the resurgent coronavirus pandemic, 100% lockdown has been imposed for 2 weeks! It has been announced that the shops selling essential items such as groceries, vegetables, milk, meat, etc., will be open until 12.00 Noon.
Rental transport systems such as taxis, buses, and autos ARE NOT ALLOWED TO OPERATE.
TAMIL NADU CHIEF MINISTER M K STALIN HAS APPEALED TO THE PUBLIC TO EXTEND 100% WHOLE-HEARTED COOPERATION FOR THE LOCKDOWN!
Meanwhile addressing the cabinet meeting of the ministers, he had observed that IT MUST BE 100% ENSURE THAT THE MEDICAL STAFF AND THE PATIENTS GET QUALITY FOOD 24 HOURS!
In this scenario, 24-hours free food service is all set to commence in the Chennai Metro City Rajiv Gandhi General Hospital from today (Tuesday, 11th May!).
The Tamil Nadu State Government Minister for the Hindu Religious Endowments, Sekar Babu will inaugurate the new 24-hours free food service!
With this new welcome facility, the hardship for food encountered by the patients and their caretakers especially during the lockdown period will be greatly eased!
It may be noted that earlier, the Tamil Nadu State Ministers Sekar Babu and Maa. Subramaniam have been appointed to monitor the coronavirus prevention activities and their implementations!
