Wearing facemasks has become a necessity now with more number of Coronavirus cases getting reported every day in Chennai. Many do not wear facemasks or sometimes wear them in improper manner also.
For creating awareness among the public regarding wearing facemasks, a music jingle has been created now. The music jingle goes like this �Namma Chenai safety ku mask eh righta podunga, vaaya moodu, mooka moodu, rendum irundha double eh poedu��.
Mr. Siddarth Ganeriwala of Chennai Tricolour initiative expressed his views. He spoke about how the usage of face masks by the people in Chennai was just 60% to 70% and how more people must wear masks. He added that even the persons who wear face masks do not wear them properly.
Mr. Kishore Manohar was the one who came up with the idea of creating music jingle for the sake of wearing facemasks. This was also mentioned by Mr. Siddarth. Crazy Pencilz, a Chennai based creative agency was responsible for creating a music video on awareness of wearing facemasks in just a few hours. Truth is that the team wanted to influence people who come out in the open to celebrate after the election results. Information is that Aravind-Shankar created the music for this jingle.
Mr. Kishore Manohar later pointed out how everyone has got their own views about wearing face masks and how it was delicate to ask someone to wear facemasks. He concluded that this music jingle would be a much easier and light hearted way of reminding people about wearing facemasks.
