Earth Day is observed every year on 22nd April!
Earth Day is dedicated to the bountiful Mother Nature and with each passing year, even as the world battles a climate crisis!
Earth Day is gaining significance. In 1990, Earth Day became an ``environmental movement, working with more than 75,000 partners in over 192 countries to drive positive action for our planet``.
This year, 2021, we mark the 51st Earth Day and earthday.org calls on everyone to "be a part of the change".
On the occasion of World Earth Day, Union Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Kiren Rijiju on Wednesday (21st April) urged people to "protect our beautiful mother earth" and preserve its "pristine natural beauty"
Rijiju took to Twitter and posted a video to share an aerial view of forests in Arunachal Pradesh: Rijiju captioned the video.
