6 Indian companies to manufacture 70 Crores Sputnik corona vaccines!

The Central Government has informed that 6 Indian manufacturing companies will commence manufacture of 70 Crores Sputnik Corona Vaccines every year.
In this regard, the Secretary of the Department of Biotechnology, functioning under the Central Government Ministry of Science & Technology, Renu Swaroop, shared on Wednesday, 21st April:
�Presently, 3 vaccines are permitted on an emergency basis to be administered for coronavirus. Apart from these 3 vaccines, the vaccine medicine produced by Bharath Biotech to be nasally administered, Cyrus Cadillac, BioE, and Genoa are in different stages of testing. During the initial stages of the manufacture of these vaccines/medicines, the central government offered both technical guidance as well as financial assistance of around Rs. 400 Crores.
The manufacturing capacity for these vaccines/medicines has already been upgraded to produce 1.5-2.0 Crores units per month! Once they are approved, these can be taken for use.
Further, 6 companies in India are set to produce the �Sputnik-V- vaccines made in Russia presently to produce 70 Crores of vaccine in a year!�
